Skincare remedies...

Hello friends!
Haven't posted in a while.
Just as busy as a bee, let me tell ya!

Haven't been out shopping in the past few days, trying to save a lil' cash and maybe I can tell you why that is today!! That would be lovely!
Anyway,
I decided to go with skincare that I like.
(And as always, it is a great product that is over the counter and doesn't cost you a fortune!)

I was using this Clean and Clear face wash....
...but my face has been breaking out for about a week now. Usually, I switch between this and Neutrogena, but I haven't switched in a while because I got my Clean and Clear as a great coupon deal.
(Note to self: Do your normal routine, even if it is a lil' more money :))

Point: I switched and my face feels fabulous! This Neutrogena smells great too!




I have been having an ordeal with puffy eyes and black circles. Cream really doesn't really work for me. I still buy new products hoping that they will work, but they just don't.
So last night, I got up enough motivation to make some tea. I used those tea bags on my eyes and waaa-laa!
The circles and puffiness look soo much better! It seems to be about the only thing that works for my eyes.
I'm sure any tea bags would do, but make sure it has caffeine in it. That is what will help the puffiness. I seem to think that the dye in the bags is what helps the circles, but I have no idea really! ha!
I just know it helps so I use it! haha!

I love this moisturizer! Will not use anything different!

Last Night's Shopping Adventure!

Brandy and I met at Walgreens at about 5pm.
We went in and got our deals in 30 minutes! Pretty good shopping time, right?!

Brandy did great with all her deals with the Johnson's and Johnson's and diapers!
4 Johnson's baby washes, Huggies diapers, Loreal facewash, the paper plates and cups, and the soup was all a grand total of $25!! Great for the fact that the Johnson's is $5.99 each, the diapers are normally $9.49 and the Loreal usually $6.99!!

I didn't do too bad either. I had just a lil' shopping extravaganza the other day so I wasn't planning on getting much!My grand total was $11 and some change (FYI can't remember the change ha! )


Soup is great for the soul during these fall and winter months! Brandy had the great idea of getting them at $0.69 each and then she had a $0.30 off 3 and I had a $0.40 off 4.

Did I mention that our totals help a lil' because I am a Walgreens employee?!
Ohh and it helps. It isn't much, but it helps take off a couple of dollars off the total!
Walgreens has just went through a lot of change in all stores. They are getting rid of items and putting new things on the shelf and they have painted and put new signs up!
So, make sure anytime you go in a Walgreens, you check for a Clearance shelf!!
Why do I say?
I got these Renpure organics shampoos for $1.74 about 2 weeks ago!

..and normally a price of $6.99!

Payton and I are going to a Rodney Atkins concert tonight! Tickets=$10 a piece!
Can't beat it!
Maybe not the best seats, but since my 1st and only concert that I've ever been to has been a 98 Degrees and Jessica Simpson way back when Nick Lacey and Jessica Simpson weren't even married yet! ha!
It should be fun!

Goodwill Bargains :)

I'll be the first to say...
I wasn't a fan of Goodwill.
I couldn't ever find anything in there.
I didn't want to look through everything.
..and so on..
BUT my mind did a 360 as soon as I found some of these deals...

This came from Target. It is originally maybe about $110 since it is a king size duvet!

Ohh, also, for the record. I bleached and washed this before putting it on the bed :) ha!

..and this cute sweater that isn't completely out of fashion and would look great with some cute boots and jewelry!

Brandy ( my sister-in-law) and I will be doing some couponing at Harris Teeter, Walgreens and CVS tomorrow night!

Last Night...

..was our 4 month anniversary. (since we've been married)
Umm so instead of making this delicious dinner...

(tilapia, mashed potates, veggies, and a salad)

We had some pulled pork, fries and a coke from Gold Mine.
..But we had a great night. Relaxing, fun. Payton, me, and Chamber were all relaxing on the couch watching this funny chick-flick...
Talked to my mom for a while.
It was her big 5-0 birthday!


...and after that we went to bed!

What was I THINKING! ha!

Does anyone else see the awful redish-golden tone that I see? I am going a lil' crazy over this! I think this would tell me to either dye it my natural color or go to someone who knows what they are doing! Whatcha think?!
